The tragic
news of actress Naya Rivera who went missing on Wednesday 8th July is
circulating the social media platform. Celebrities and fans are praying for her
safe return.
According to
the details provided by the Ventura County Sheriff Department, the actress who
gained popularity from show Glee went boating with her son Josie Hollis in lake
Piru, California. They rented a boat at around 1pm. Three hours later, a boater
saw the child all by himself in a boat. He informed the authorities who
immediately started the search operation with the help of helicopters, divers,
and drones. The unharmed child told the officials that Rivera went into the
water for swimming and never came back. Speculations are that the actress might
have drowned.
Rivera’s son
is from her marriage with actor Ryan Dorsey, but the couple finalized their
divorce after four years of marriage in June 2018. Just a day before the
