Fleets: Twitter Launches a New Way of Sharing Momentary Thoughts

Today Twitter launched a new feature called Fleets. It is a very familiar feature as other social media services have already made it available for their users. Through this feature, Twitter users will be able to share their thoughts and feelings more conveniently.

Although Twitter took a long time to introduce this tool, it has been observed that with Fleets people talk more on Twitter. These disappearing messages feature sits at the top of the timeline and only stick there for 24 hours making it way easier to share what’s on the mind. With Fleets, texts, videos, pictures can be shared. Soon stickers and a live broadcasting facility will also be made available. Fleets can be customized with a number of background and text options.

That thing you didn’t Tweet but wanted to but didn’t but got so close but then were like nah.

We have a place for that now—Fleets!
