Grammy Award Winner Dua Lipa to Miss Met Gala for Her Debut Film “Argylle”
The Met Gala 2021, affectionately referred to as “fashion’s biggest night out”, is an annual fund-raising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. Every year stars, creators, and famous industry icons grace this gala with their presence. This year the event will take place on Monday, September 13th. Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Dua Lipa will miss the event as she is busy shooting her debut film, “Argylle”.
Lipa’s representative told TMZ source that the star is invited to the fund-raising ball this month, but she will not make it to the event as she is busy filming her debut action thriller movie, “Argylle” in the UK. This will be her first big-screen appearance. The other cast in the movie includes Samuel L. Jackson, Henry Cavill, Bryan Cranston, Bryce Dallas Howard, John Cena, Sam Rockwell, and Catherine O’Hara. Argylle is directed by Matthew Vaughn of ‘Kingsman’ fame.
Though Lipa will miss the Met Gala 2021, rumors suggest that still it will feature huge names including Beyonce, Kim Kardashian West, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Harry Styles, Lupita Nyong’o, Camila Cabello, Addison Rae, and Lewis Hamilton.
