Jordison joined “The Pale Ones” in the summers of 1995, which later changed their name to Slipknot. Jordison remained in Slipknot from its formation till December 2013. Slipknot is renowned for its members wearing attention-grabbing masks and aggressive music styles. Jordison was a noticeable member of the band. He performed on four studio albums and produced one live album with Slipknot namely, 9.0: Live. Slipknot announced his departure from the group on their official site, citing personal reasons. He responded with a statement where he mentioned that he was fired from the band and wrote that Slipknot “has been my life for the last 18 years, and I would never abandon it, or my fans.” However, in June 2016 he revealed that he suffered from transverse myelitis, a neurological disorder in which he lost the ability to play the drum during his last working days with Slipknot. Jordison also proved his talent with other metal groups such as Rob Zombie, Metallica, Korn, Ministry, Otep, and Satyricon. Pearl and ddrum are some drum brands used by him. Before his death, he was playing for the band Sinsaenum.
